RESEARCH PROTOCOL AND CONTACT INFORMATION
If you are interested in retaining my services, I will be happy to evaluate your proposed assignment, and, without charge, give you an estimate of the time that I believe will be required to complete the assignment. Only hours which you authorize will be undertaken. You will receive a complete, detailed Research Report at the conclusion of the assignment, with resources cited, and findings noted and evaluated. I will also ask for copies of any prior research notes you may have on the assignment, in order to avoid duplication of effort, although I may occasionally request authorization to check a resource which the client has already consulted if I believe there may be more data to be gleaned from it. Potential clients should be aware that there are no guarantees that I, or any other researcher, will be able to make "breakthroughs" on various genealogical problems. I will make every effort to gather as much data as possible toward that end, however.
